About Me

Who am I

I am currently a Security Analyst, and former Vermont farmer. I love Cybersecurity, FOSS, edible plants, and trying to live a relaxed life.

Since 2016 I have worked on an all organic veggie farm during my summer breaks, as of 2021 I became a full time manager. I feel this has given me a better understanding of working class life and has helped me figure out my passions in life. I would like to eventually own a few acres myself and at the very least work it as a homestead if not a market garden or larger.

Starting in 2022 I've been working in Cyber Security first in the MSSP world now in an in house security team. I've found my passions are SIEMs, detection engineering, and incident response. Currently the local Splunk wizard but perpetually unhappy with it's archaic design.

When it comes to everything else I am a casual gamer, enjoying both video games and tabletop ones. I also love horror movies, art house movies, and just god awful movies. You can almost always find me listening to some obscure music.
